I am so excited to hear you are adopting him - he struck me as such a neat kid! He looks so happy and yes, seems to be always in the action taking care of the smaller babies.

We are enjoying the photos! Just a few more days I guess and you will be home. Praying for your long journey home!
Love,

Congratulations!

Dan and Michelle,
Your posts bring back such memories. Love the idea of Jack speaking Italian and, of course, the butchered English translations at the White Swan and beyond.
Wish I'd been following your blog earlier. Would have asked you to tell Steed hello from The Thorntons. He is just as you described. If you'll send Gayle his e-mail address, I'd like to get in touch with him.
We're not far behind you. We learned Friday that there was a slight chance of traveling next month, but it now looks like we'll leave Feb. 8 to go bring our new daughter home. Your blog alleviates my fears of spending two weeks in China with a 4-year-old girl who is terrified and homesick but can't quite communicate it.
Have a safe and restful journey home!
Tony Thornton
